What is
it ?
Ski Log is a GPS data logging system which receives data
from a constellation of satellites and stores the data in flash
memory for analysis later. Skiers and boarders always want to
re-live their day's experiences so Ski Log can provide
the answer. Speed and distance travelled can be calculated, maps
of routes taken can be created and exported onto a 3D view of
the resort using Google Earth. Ski Log is small,
lightweight (60gms) and easy to use. It works anywhere in the
world 24/7.
How to
use it.
Simply place this small tracking device in your pocket or backpack.
After a days skiing you can download the information straight
onto a PC and re-live the days experiences. Your runs are overlaid
onto 3D rendered terrain map of the resort, and of course, you
can save the data for later.
Other uses.
It doesn't stop there !
Ski Log works anywhere in the world 24/7. The GPS system
is completely free. Initially designed for the skier and boarder
in mind, it can be used for any purpose on any journey.
Let your imagination run wild!
Taking a year out travelling the world, then track your journey
with the Ski Log.
Bluetooth connectivity is also provided - pair it with a smart
phone or PDA running a mapping program and you have a Sat Nav!
